Virginia Elmira (1927-2015) & Warren Harry (1919-2015)
Virginia Elliott, age 87, was reunited with her beloved husband, Warren Elliott, on June 22, 2015, after a brief illness. Warren passed away at age 95 in February of the same year. They were both natives of St. Louis, Missouri, where they met when Warren returned from serving in the Air Force in WWII. They have three children, Warren Neil Elliott, Cheryl Lynn Culshaw & Suzanne Elizabeth Hirth, as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They left St. Louis in 1952 to live in the Red Bank area of New Jersey where Warren worked as a Chemical Engineer for National Lead Company and Virginia stayed at home to raise their children. They returned to St. Louis with Suzanne in 1970 where they lived until 2008 when they came to Cincinnati. They enjoyed traveling in the US and Europe, creating art and auditing college courses. They were active members of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, MO and St. Timothy Episcopal Church in Anderson Township. They most recently resided at the New England Club. There will be a celebration of remembrance for Virginia and Elliott on October 20, 2015 which will mark the date of their 70th wedding anniversary. Time and location will be announced later. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Timothy Episcopal Church on Beechmont Ave, Anderson Twp. “Intreat me not to leave thee, or return from following thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I.” Ruth 1:16
