Randolph (Randy) Burchett II

Randy was someone who knew how to fly under the radar.  He was a down to earth guy who managed to touch the lives of everyone he came in contact with and never knew a stranger.  He was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it was turning a wrench or reroofing a house.  Never one to cut corners, he did things the “right” way.  He had a belief in people and what they could do – pushing them to succeed and better themselves, but never more than they could handle.

Randy’s heart was huge.  He loved his family, friends and dogs.  Flying was his first love, as well as fishing and riding his Harleys.  It didn’t matter what city he was in – he always knew where all the Harley shops were, the best restaurants, and could always find the movie theaters.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita, and children, Derrick, Richelle (Ricki) and Christina (Chrisy).  His grandchildren, Jacob, Alexis and Alicia, his brother Bill and sisters Gail, Diann, Dena and Teri, their families, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and the numerous friends that he made throughout his life.

As a second generation pilot, his legacy will continue through the numerous students he taught and mentored, as a flight instructor not only in Ohio, but throughout the United States.

Memorial service will be held Saturday April 18 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm with eulogy at 2:00pm at 670 Wilmer Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45226.
