Charles G, 79 of Newport passed away Nov 8 at Glen Meadows Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years June Turner. Survived by his dear sons Greg (JoAnn) and Jeff (Lee) Turner and daughter Sherri (Shannon) Kelly, 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother Roosevelt (Patricia) Turner, Jr and sister Virginia (the late Reed) Sebastian. Charles coached football and knothole in Campbell County, was a football coach at Newport Central Catholic and was in the N. KY Sports Hall of Fame. Visitation will be held Wed, Nov 12 from 5-8pm at Fares J Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Services will be held at 10am on Thurs, Nov 13 at 10am at the funeral with burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery.
