Floyd Eugene Baker, Sr., 81, left this life on October 1st, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. Formerly of Highland Heights, KY, he resided at the Liberty Nursing Center & Rehab in Cincinnati for the past few years following a stroke. He worked for NuTone in Cincinnati for over 30 years, and once owned a bar called “Rosie’s Hide-Out” in Dayton, KY. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Occupied Germany. Preceding him in death was his wife, Rosemary Euton Baker; brothers, Harold, Luther, and Elmer Baker, and sister, Geraldine Baker Bidwell. Survivors include sons, Floyd Eugene Baker, Jr. (Caryn) of Falmouth, Phillip L. Baker of Walton; Grandsons, Jason L. Baker of Franklin, OH and Joshua N. Baker of Georgetown, OH; six Great Grandchildren; brothers, Bill Baker of Falmouth, Jack Price of Alabama, Rick Baker of Hebron, and sisters Wilma Jean Baker Harney of Paris, KY and Shirley Baker Williams plus a host of extended family members. Visitation will be Mon. Oct. 6, 2014, from 4-8 PM at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Cold Spring, KY, 4016 Alexandria Pike. Funeral services will be Tues. Oct. 7 at noon, at Fares J. Radel, Cold Spring. Burial at Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
