BACHMAN
George F, 86 of Newport passed away Feb 3 at St. Elizabeth, Ft. Thomas. George served our country in the Army during World War II and was a volunteer fireman and later became chief for the Southern Campbell County Fire District. He is preceded in death by his dear wife Elizabeth (Betty) Bachman. Survived by his loving sons Daniel (Sue), David (Leslie) and Michael (Kate) Bachman, daughters Dawn (Terry) Frazier, Jo Ann (Bill) Bachman and Jennifer (John) Tomlinson, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9:30am until time of memorial mass at 10:30am on Thurs, Feb 6 at the Baptist Convalescent Home with a second viewing at 11:30am until 12 noon at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1pm at Oakland Cemetery, Grants Lick.
