KOZAK
Julia (Judy) Kozak, December 5, 1920 – November 29, 2013. Most recent resident of Barrington in West Chester, OH.
Judy was one of four children born to the late William and Christina Beck and loving wife to the late Jerry Kozak. She is survived by her only child, Kristine, and son-in-law Martin Densmore, as well as three grandchildren Gretchen, Douglas, and Gregory (Teresa) Densmore.
In her 92 years, she had many great experiences and stories. From adventures on the rope bridges of her West Virginia childhood home, to raising a family and running businesses in Pittsburgh, to a well deserved retirement in Florida and Ohio. Along the way, she earned a reputation for a quick wit, a mind for numbers, and the right amount of spunk. Her generosity and sense of humor came to life in her adoption of Frankie, her 26 pound cat.
A proud non-driver, Judy would take greyhound buses (fondly referred to as Nana’s bus) to visit family and friends. Years later she would exchange greyhound buses for greyhound dogs, enjoying the companionship of several adopted former racers. As such, the family asks that any memorial donations be made to the Greyhound Adoption of Greater Cincinnati, www.cincigreyhounds.org.
