Bertie Lou, 88 of Newport passed away May 12 at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Warner, son Richard Deaton, grandson Chris Buecker and nieces Hazel Murphy and Carolyn Holiday. Bertie is survived by her loving children Sandy (Robert) Feinauer, Dawna (David) Murphy, Kerry (Diane) Warner and Karen (Donald) Buecker, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, niece Dorothy (Charles – her cut-up buddy) Conley, nephews Eddie (Sue) Deaton and Tom Murphy and many great nieces and nephews. Bertie was a member of the Cross and Crown Church, volunteered at Richard’s Variety Store, which was owned by her son, and was a cook at the Beverly Hills Supper Club and the Avenue Restaurant. Visitation will be held Monday May 15 from 4pm until time of service at 7pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will take place Tues, May 16 at 10am at Evergreen Cemetery.
